On 25 October 2021, we had the honour of receiving the President of the Republic, Emmanuel Macron, accompanied by the Minister of the Economy, Finance and Recovery, Bruno Le Maire, the Minister of Industry, Agn\u00e8s Pannier-Runacher, the Prefect, Catherine Seguin, the Member of Parliament, Jean-Michel Mis, as well as the Mayor of the City of Saint-\u00c9tienne, Ga\u00ebl PERDRIAU.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

PURPOSE OF THE VISIT<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Since 2002, our company Sileane is specialised in adaptive robotics. We develop solutions combining robotics, vision and artificial intelligence for our industrial customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Monday 25 October 2021, the President and his ministers visited our offices and workshops, where our teams presented several of our robotic solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We were able to illustrate our desire to innovate in robotics in various sectors such as food processing, pharmaceuticals, microtechnology, cosmetics, glassmaking and nuclear energy. As a company committed to industrial renewal, we are pursuing our mission to support the development of people and the performance of companies through technology and innovation. For each project we undertake, the challenge is to make access to innovation possible for industrialists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The good news is that the President has come to announce the “industry of the future” component of his future investment plan “France 2030”, introduced during his speech on 12 October 2021. This “France 2030” programme provides for a budget of \u20ac30 billion to support the industries of the future, including \u20ac800 million for the modernisation of our factories. Half (\u20ac400 million) will be dedicated to providers of innovative automation solutions (4.0, 5.0, etc.).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remember that France ranks 7th in the world in terms of the number of robots used, behind China, Japan, the United States, South Korea, Germany and Italy (source: International Federation of Robotics IFR). The aim of this plan will be to stimulate innovation within French industry, to support these new transitions and to “take a lead in France”. We will be able to roll up our sleeves!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We were honoured to receive President Emmanuel Macron’s first visit to the Loire at our premises in Saint-Etienne. It was a privilege to be able to show the technological advances we are capable of in France.
