Innovation in the spotlight: Kamido K0, the waste sorting and recycling robot<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kamido is an autonomous robot equipped with vision and artificial intelligence to sort and quantify waste. It automatically allows to :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 separate waste item by item;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 identify the type of waste;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 pack the waste without exceeding a maximum amount of material allowed inside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Robots combined with vision systems, 3D cameras and artificial intelligence can be used for various waste recovery projects where there is a need to categorise materials. Autonomous and adaptive robotics is a new product for the nuclear and civil waste industry with multiple possible applications.
